According to Lizana, Dr. Esmat Momeni, Director of the Department of Information Science and Knowledge of Allameh Tabatabai University, announced the news: The International Virtual Conference jointly with the European Commission, Allameh Tabatabai University, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and the Library Foundation General of the country will be held in May 1400 at Allameh Tabatabai University.

The Director of the Department of Information Science and Knowledge of Allameh Tabatabaei University stated: ‌ It should be mentioned that the project manager is Dr. Glensa Golini Moghaddam, a member of the Faculty of Information Science and Knowledge of Allameh Tabatabaei University of Tehran in collaboration with Dr. Rahmatollah Fattahi, a faculty member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Dr. Farideh Asareh, a member of the faculty of Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, who has been implementing the project since 2009.

He said: "The purpose of holding an international virtual conference on the role of public libraries in Iran, emphasizing the experiences of European countries in the field of structure, organization, and strategies of public libraries in Iran and Europe; Public, specialized and personalized services in public libraries of Iran and Europe; Public and civil society libraries in Iran and Europe; Review, analysis and design of future services development in public libraries in Iran and Europe.
